My name is Bridget and I have a love/hate relationship with my life in Reno, Nevada.
This space is the result of a conversation I had with a friend a few years ago. At the end of a story about a date gone bad, she said to me, “You have to keep throwing frogs at the wall until one turns into a prince, huh?” I had been considering a blog for a while and her comment stuck with me. Several days later, I had a blog.
Wait, what? You had another blog? Yes, I did. This is not my first time brain dumping on the Internet. The other blog was more of an online diary, filled with sordid details of my love life and feelings I rarely share. Because of that space, I found online communities like 20-Something Bloggers and met new friends all over the world. My interests expanded and it helped me redefine my personal and professional goals. Even so, I struggled with wanting to share my writing with people in my everyday life versus protecting my privacy and those mentioned. I recently came to the conclusion that blogging has already done so much for me and I want to see what happens when I combine my blog world and my everyday world.
This is it.
